To celebrate National Adoption Month this year, Governor Walker and the Department of Children and Families (DCF) honored the contributions of adoptive parents throughout Wisconsin. Steve and Denise Leitzinger of Shullsburg, were selected as one of the four families to receive the 2011 Governor's Outstanding Adoptive Parent award. Steve and Denise have been providing foster care in Lafayette County for over 11 years. Thank you for your service!
