Psychiatric Services:
A psychiatrist is on staff to provide psychiatric evaluations, medication prescriptions and monitoring, consultation to a local hospital and nursing home, as well as clinical supervision for the mental health staff.
Psychological Services:
Referrals are made to Ph.D. level psychologists to provide consultation and psychological testing. Common tests involve personality tests, IQ tests, and a variety of behavioral assessments.
Community Support Program:
A continuum of services are available to individuals suffering from mental health illness which are designed to help the individuals live as independently as possible. The services include case management, medication management, vocational services, crisis counseling, social support programming, and coordination with other service providers.
Out-Patient Counseling:
Counseling and psychotherapy are provided for a variety of short-term or transitional problems including marital issues, domestic violence interventions, sadness, anxiety, fear, nervousness, depression, relationship or family problems, communication difficulties, or life changes. Counseling can be provided in individual, family, or group settings.
Community Education:
The mental health staff is available to speak to local schools, hospitals, and community organizations on a variety of topics and concerns. |
