Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Services


Confidential Assessments:

Initial interviews are available to persons concerned about their own alcohol or drug abuse, or that of a friend or family member. A recommendation is given for an appropriate treatment program.


Outpatient Counseling:

One to one meetings to educate adults and adolescents about the nature of their illness and to help develop coping skills needed for recovery.


Intoxicated Driver Program:

Court-ordered assessment and necessary treatment for those convicted of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.


Inpatient Treatment:

Can refer to facilities for 14-30 days of intensive, live-in treatment in a hospital or residential setting for adults and adolescents, providing a drug and alcohol free environment with professional staff for support and assistance.


Transitional Living:

Can refer to halfway house or other supportive living situations for persons who have chronic alcohol or drug dependence.


Self Help Groups:

Clients and family are encouraged to attend weekly meetings of Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, and Al-Anon. Support groups encourage abstinence and healthy decision-making.
